Got a hole in your gutter you just can’t wait to fix? A strip of storm weatherproof tape to the rescue!
A hole this large means it’s time for a new gutter, but until you can replace it you can stop the leak.
Use a scourer to clean away dirt and grime from around the leak – but not too hard in case you make it worse!
Cut a strip of tape 2-3cm larger than the leak and peel off backing paper.
Starting from one side, press tape over leak, expelling any water under it as you go. Monitor for a few minutes, closing any leaks, until the tape grips.
